A statement for Inner Peace
Why do we love doing Kundalini Yoga so much? Because it makes us feel better! And the good news is, when you feel better this has a positive impact on the world. You feeling good, at peace, kind and compassionate is your biggest gift to human kind and the planet. Sometimes sitting on your yoga mat, chanting mantra’s, doing asana’s and breath work, staring at the tip of our nose can seem like a selfish act. It’s not! It is through your commitment and dedication to your own peace of mind you will make a tremendous impact on creating a peaceful world. In our two hour session we will make a energetic statement for inner and outer peace and feel our power as peaceful warriors!

Marieke de Lange (1978) is a certified Level 1 & 2 Kundalini Yoga Teacher. After practicing Hatha Yoga for 10 years she switched to Kundalini in 2011 and is teaching on a daily basis ever since via her yoga school; Kundalini Yoga Amsterdam. Besides her daily classes Marieke teaches in India, on several big Yoga Festivals, organizes workshops & Intensives. She also leads Yoga Journeys & Retreats to France, Italy, India and Nepal. Recently together with her partner Tim Schipper she has founded the online kundaliniyogaschool.org to support people integrating a daily practice into their lives. Marieke’s love for Kundalini Yoga stems from the tremendous richness of inspiration and variation within this tradition. With her background as a theatre director she finds in Kundalini Yoga all the possible tools to awaken ones creativity and potential. Her classes always are a deepening experience beyond the comfort zone, to discover new dimensions of ‘being’. Self-observation is playing a key role throughout the practice towards self-discovery.
